7. The Ocean at the End of The lane

By Neil Gaiman

Rating:  5 out of 5

I picked this book up at the lunchroom library where I work.

So far, so good.  Seems to have a touch of the supernatural.

This is a very odd book.  It is a fantasy, I guess.  I’m not really familiar with the fantasy genre, so I don’t know if this qualifies.  It is certainly fantastical.  The author is very creative, I think. It is not odd in a bad way.  I can’t wait to see how it ends.

This is just a crazy, fantastical story, in a good way.  As I said, I’m not really familiar with the fantasy genre, so maybe this kind of stuff goes on in books all the time.  It just seems incredibly creative and well-written to me.

That was one crazy, wild ride of a book!

Buy it at Barnes & Noble
