24. Where’d You Go, Bernadette

By Maria Semple

Rating:  5 of 5

This was recommended by a book club member who had it recommended to her by someone in anothe book club.  It is interesting and quirky.  The characters are quirky, and it is written in a unique style.

One of the characters works for Microsoft.  One was once a wiz kid architect.

This was an excellent book.  It had interesting things about Microsoft and Antarctica.  Without giving away anything, it had a satisfactory ending.

23. HRC

By Jonathan Allen & Amie Parnes

Rating: 3.5 out of 4

This was given to me by my friend, Tiffany, because I am a Hillary supporter.

I finished 24, 25, and 26 before finishing this one.  I enjoyed this book.  I learned more about. Hillary and satisfied myself that I have made a good choice to support her.

The authors are biased in her favor, so I probably need to read more books about her to get a fuller picture.  It is unlikely I can find an unbiased book, though.

22. Boar Island

Rating:  4 out of 5

I’ve had this book on hold at he library, and it just became available.  I’ve got to read it before The Help, because new books can’t be renewed.

I really enjoy these Anna Pigeon books.  I hope this one doesn’t disappoint.

It didn’t disappoint.  This book had two stories going on that came together pretty neatly at the end.  Nevada Barr does a good job of keeping her series fresh.  I rated this one, even though I said the previous series book didn’t warrant a rating.
