2017 42: A Man With One of Those Faces

This is no high literature, but it is a good adventure.  It is the first in a series, but stands on its own.  It has lots of profanity but, and this sounds strange, it is in good humor.

This is a classic.  It has good, dramatic, building suspense.  It was recommended by my brother.

2017 40: boys in the trees: a memoir

From the book flap:  “Intimate, candid, and told with a poet’s ear for language,….”  Her poets ear for language gags me.  The way she describes time with James Taylor is syrupy gross.

Also, it seems she had sex with every man who ever cam to her apartment, including other people’s boyfriends and husbands.

She mentions once or twice that she is a narcissist.  She didn’t have to tell me.  I could tell from her writing.
